MONTROSE, Pa. — Hallmark Channel is one of the most-watched cable networks here in Northeastern and Central PA all year round, but it always jumps a few spots at Christmastime, and Christmastime starts early in the world of Hallmark and for our real-life Hallmark town in Susquehanna County.

It is still very much looking like fall on Public Avenue in downtown Montrose. But for the elves in charge of planning the annual holiday event, it is always Christmas in Montrose. Planning technically started in January, during the wrap meeting for last year's event. It's just one of the many reasons it has become one of the biggest Christmas events in the area.
