GOP US Rep. Zach Nunn has the edge in the 3rd District, Democrat Sarah Trone Garriott again outpaces primary opponent Jennifer Konfrst

Democrat Christina Bohannan led Iowa's 2026 U.S. House candidates in fundraising this summer, but her opponent, incumbent Republican U.S. Rep. Mariannette Miller-Meeks, maintains a $1 million lead in her campaign war chest, new finance reports show.

Bohannan, a University of Iowa law professor who's trying a third time to unseat Miller-Meeks in southeastern Iowa's 1st Congressional District after a narrow 2024 loss, topped the field with $1.06 million raised in the third quarter of the year.
