BEREA, Ohio – A wanted Olmsted Township woman, 45, was arrested at about 9:30 a.m. Oct. 13 in the parking lot of Shell, 827 Front Street.

Police saw the woman in the passenger seat of a van in the area of North Rocky River Drive and West Bagley Road. They knew she was wanted in Berea and by the Cuyahoga County Sheriff’s Office.

The van pulled into Shell and parked at a gas pump. As the driver pumped gas, police told him they needed to talk to his passenger.

Police asked the woman to step out of the van. They placed her in handcuffs. Police found a bag of unused syringes, a vial of distilled water and a metal bottle cap containing cotton.

The woman admitted that she had used the syringes to inject heroin after she heated the drug in the bottle cap with distilled water.
