(KRON) — Two members of a “reckless driving crew” were arrested and their cars were towed on Oct. 7 following a months-long investigation into social media videos of dangerous driving in the Bay Area, the California Highway Patrol said.

CHP officers began investigating the crew on April 5, after investigators allegedly found social media videos of a street racer swerving through traffic at high speeds.

“Through the investigation, two vehicles were identified as being involved in numerous incidents across the Bay Area,” CHP said. “Investigators determined that a white Lexus sedan and a white BMW sedan were seen in multiple videos, some of which included identifying information that allowed investigators to locate the owners.” • CHP arrested two and seized two cars during an investigatio
