TYLER, Texas (KLTV) - Several coaches and players from the Region 14 Conference met at Tyler Junior College on Wednesday to meet with the media ahead of the upcoming basketball season.

In the preseason coaches poll for the women, Kilgore is picked to finish first in front of TVCC, Blinn and TJC rounding out the top four. Panola is picked to finish fifth, while Angelina College is picked seventh.

The Angelina College Lady Roadrunners finished 11-17 last year and 4-10 in Region 14 play. In May, Angelina College hired Addie Lees as the new women’s basketball coach. Lees was previously the head coach at Christian Brothers University and before that she spent one year at Arkansas State University Mid-South.
