WICHITA, Kan. (KSNW) — WSU Tech South celebrated the grand opening Thursday of the HACK, a new facility aimed at expanding the school's digital marketing, IT, and technical certificate programs.
The HACK, or Hub for Advanced Computer Knowledge, at WSU Tech South offers students expanded resources for learning in digital marketing and IT.
WSU Tech President Sheree Utash highlighted the facility's role in meeting the rising demand for IT and cybersecurity specialists.
"We know that the need in the workforce in our industry for IT specialists and for cybersecurity is doing nothing but increasing. And so we believe that we needed to kind of up our game in these areas," Utash said.
The HACK features a cyber range to prepare students for the workforce and is part of an initiative to create a
