LG Manoj Sinha to lead Indian delegation to Russia for return of Lord Buddha’s holy relics

Lieutenant Governor of Jammu and Kashmir, Manoj Sinha, is leaving for Kalmykia, Russia, to lead the Indian delegation tasked with bringing back the holy relics of Lord Buddha after their week-long exposition.

The revered relics were displayed in Russia as part of a special exhibition showcasing India’s rich Buddhist heritage and the deep spiritual and cultural bonds between the two nations.

Expressing gratitude for the opportunity, LG Sinha said, “I sincerely thank the Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi Ji for this sacred opportunity. ॐ नमो बुद्धाय!”

The week-long exposition in Kalmykia drew large participation from devotees, monks, and scholars, symbolizing the message of peace, compassion, and universal brotherhood taught by Lord Buddha.
