(FOX40.COM) -- An investigation is underway after a person was shot in Meadowview on Thursday night, according to the Sacramento Police Department.

Around 9:30 p.m., SPD responded to reports of a shooting in the 2400 block of Meadowview Road. When officers arrived at the scene they found a victim with at least one gunshot wound.
