Kyra Polizzi’s first-half hat trick powered Gov. Livingston to a 6-0 victory over New Providence in the second round of the Union County Tournament in Berkeley Heights.

Polizzi’s three-goal performance was her second of the year, bringing her to 16 goals in her senior season.

Beside Polizzi, Lauren Simon was stellar with two goal sand one assist. Keira Forrester also scored a goal, and Lauren Dwyer, Hailey Jakubowski and Emma DeFeo all had one assist.

Gov. Livingston (11-4) travels to Johnson Oct. 18 with a start time to be announced. New Providence (9-7-1) hosts Oak Knoll 4 p.m. Oct. 23.
