The Big West-Upper league title could be decided Friday night when the Centennial-Corona Huskies travel to Nighthawk Stadium to face Murrieta Valley in a battle of 6-1 teams both sporting perfect 2-0 league records.

The Huskies dismantled Vista Murrieta 63-14 last week behind senior quarterback Dominick Catalano’s four-touchdown performance and sophomore sensation Malaki Davis’s 150-yard, three-touchdown rushing clinic.

The Nighthawks counter with their own offensive juggernaut in senior running back Jeremiah Watson, who exploded for 281 yards and six touchdowns on 32 carries in last week’s 56-42 victory over Chaparral.

Centennial defeated visiting Murrieta Valley 28-9 in their October meeting last season.
