James E. Pericolosi

IRON MOUNTAIN — James E. Pericolosi, 103, of Iron Mountain, passed away on Wednesday, Oct. 15, 2025, at Evergreen Assisted Living in Kingsford.

He was born on Feb. 16, 1922, in Chicago, son of the late Frank and Clorinda (Faccin) Pericolosi. At a young age, Jim’s parents passed away and he was raised by his aunt and uncle, Catherine and Frank Faccin.

He graduated from Iron Mountain High School in 1940 and was a lifelong resident of the area. Following graduation, Jim enlisted in the U.S. Navy, where he proudly served his country.

Jim married Carol Mitchell at the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Iron Mountain on Sept. 17, 1949; she preceded him in death on May 4, 2007.

Jim spent 38 years working as a lineman for Michigan Bell before retiring in 1983. He was
