As the city prepares for Diwali, the community of Pimple Saudagar is channeling the festive spirit into two significant social initiatives: a dedicated e-waste collection drive and a large-scale relief campaign for flood-affected families in Marathwada.

Ahead of the festival of lights, residents Anjum Sayyad and Bhagyalaxmi Katari have launched an e-waste collection drive, urging households to responsibly dispose of old electronics during their Diwali cleaning.

“When we clean our homes for Diwali, we often discard many items. We requested residents to channel these electronic items to us,” said Anjum Sayyad, one of the organizers.
