Pennsylvania Leads U.S. in Hardwood Exports, but Industry Growth Starts at Home

Pennsylvania remains the U.S. leader in hardwood lumber exports, but an industry leader says growing the industry still starts at home.

Most wood produced in Pennsylvania stays in the U.S., said Jon Geyer, the executive director of the Hardwoods Development Council at the state Department of Agriculture.
