ASHBURN, Va. (AP) — Wide receiver Treylon Burks was signed to the Washington Commanders' practice squad on Friday as the team tries to deal with a series of injuries at that position.
Washington released receiver Tay Martin from its practice squad.
The Commanders (3-3), who play at the Dallas Cowboys (2-3-1) on Sunday, put wideout Noah Brown on injured reserve this week after he already missed four games with knee and groin issues. The team's No. 1 receiver, Terry McLaurin , sat out the past three games with a bad quadriceps muscle and he missed practice Thursday. Deebo Samuel also did not practice Thursday because of a hurt heel.
The oft-injured Burks was waived by the Tennessee Titans in July, two days after the 2022 first-round draft pick hurt his right shoulder while making a
