PHOENIX (AZFamily) — The suspect accused of killing two Phoenix teenagers during a camping trip is scheduled to appear in court on Friday morning.

Thomas Brown, 31, is slated for an arraignment hearing at 8:30 a.m. Earlier this month, Brown was arrested in connection with the murders of Pandora Kjolsrud, 18, and Evan Clark, 17 .

On May 27, the two teens were found dead while camping near State Route 87 in the Mount Ord area of Tonto National Forest. Detectives say Kjolsrud and Clark were shot several times , and their bodies were dragged into the brush and hidden.

While searching the scene, detectives found a bloody pair of gloves, shell casings and camping gear. DNA was collected from the teens’ car and bloody evidence, which came back as a positive match for Brown.
