YOUNGSTOWN Members of the Youngstown Parks and Recreation Department will be on site of a ribbon cutting celebrating the opening of a new park in Youngstown.
The ribbon cutting for John White Park, located at 2300 Kimmel Street in Youngstown, will happen at 5 p.m. on Friday, October 17.
The public is invited to the event, and light refreshments will be provided.
In addition to John White Park, two other parks in Youngstown have received upgrades or have opened to the public.
Lynn Park, located in the Brownlee Woods neighborhood, unveiled new improvements to its park on September 10, 2025.
New improvements included a new playground, pickleball court and outdoor workout equipment.
