MONTGOMERY, Ala. ( WSFA ) - A third arrest has been made in the Oct. 4 downtown Montgomery mass shooting that took two lives and injured 12 more, the Montgomery Police Department announced Thursday.

According to MPD, 19-year-old Javorick Whiting is charged with one count of attempted murder.

Whiting was taken into custody Thursday and is currently being held in the Montgomery County Detention Facility on a $60,000 bond.

MPD released a video on social media showing Whiting being placed into a police car.

Police have made two prior arrests in this case. Dantavious McGhee , 19, was arrested Monday and an unidentified juvenile boy was arrested Friday.

MPD expects more arrests to be made in this case.
