: Minister in-charge Arts & Culture Sanbor Shullai has emphasized that reading adds immense value as it provides a platform for broadening the way of thinking and nurturing the process of learning.
“It is through reading that knowledge is enhanced and intellect sharpened therefore transforming lives and the public at large. The habit of reading can make us more aware of our culture, society, etc., thereby making us more informed and well-read individuals in the years to come,” Shullai said while addressing at a one-day workshop organized by the Directorate of Arts and Culture under the National Mission on Libraries Scheme on “Habit of Reading as a tool for Social development and Economic upliftment” at U Soso Tham Auditorium.
