Da'Qualon Joseph Robinson of Opelousas was found guilty Thursday of second degree murder and obstruction of justice in the 27th Judicial District Court.

Robinson, who was 15 at the time, was convicted of killing 15-year-old Kentravion George on Nov. 2, 2022.

Prosecutors said George and and a friend were walking two girls home in the 800 block of North Main Street in Opelousas, when a car rolled up and shots rang out. George was taken to a local hospital, where he later died.
