FRANKLIN TOWNSHIP, Ohio (WXIX) - A deadly May overdose has now led to a man facing involuntary manslaughter and drug charges.

Randall Cornwell was indicted by a grand jury on Oct. 16, according to the Clermont County Sheriff’s Office.

The investigation that ended with Cornwell facing numerous charges started on May 13, the sheriff’s office explained.

It was on that date that the sheriff’s office says they were called to Market Street in the Village of Chilo of Franklin Township for a man who was not breathing.

First responders found a 25-year-old victim and tried to save his life, but those attempts were unsuccessful.

Detectives arrived at the scene and started investigating.
