NORTHERN KENTUCKY (WXIX) - A 19-year-old is facing a first-degree assault charge after he allegedly stabbed someone in Northern Kentucky.
Kade Kemp, of Southgate, is accused of stabbing a person in the chest during a fight Thursday night, according to Southgate police.
Officers were dispatched at 11:25 p.m. to Barkley Ridge Apartments for a report of a domestic disturbance.
When they arrived, they found a victim with a stab wound to the chest. Southgate Wilder EMS transported the victim to the University of Cincinnati Medical Center, police said.
During their investigation, police discovered Kemp was involved in a physical altercation, and stabbed the victim.
He is currently behind bars in the Campbell County Detention Center on a $10,000 cash bond, jail records show.
