US President Donald Trump confirmed that he will be meeting Chinese President Xi Jinping in the next two weeks, hinting at a possible reconciliation between the two countries over trade.

Trump had announced a 100% tariff against China over export controls on rare earth minerals, but on Friday, he acknowledged that it is not viable in the long term.

As per a report published by India Today, Trump said, “I think things will be fine with China. We’re going to meet in two weeks.”

The US President accused China of attempting to drive a wedge between the United States and Argentina by purchasing soybeans from the South American nation rather than from American producers.
