Shillong, Oct 17: UDP legislator from West Shillong and former cabinet minister Paul Lyngdoh on Friday conducted a comprehensive inspection of various sites within the constituency and assured to expedite projects related to roads and water supply.

Lyngdoh, who is also adviser to the social welfare departmentwas accompanied by government officials of different line departments and functionaries of dorbar shnongs.

"I am happy to share with you that...we have agreed to expedite work," he told reporters after the inspection.

Lyngdoh highlighted that a significant component of the work is already covered by the Rs 25 crore Iewduh rejuvenation project, announced by the Chief Minister a few months ago
