In a battle between the last two teams unbeaten in 2A North Region play, the Northland Preparatory Academy Spartans volleyball team defeated the St. Johns Redskins in four sets at home on Thursday, 25-17, 25-17, 20-25, 25-14.

The win puts the Spartans at the top of the region, while also snapping St. Johns’ 10-match winning streak. St. Johns hadn’t lost a regular season game since its season opener against Round Valley on Sept. 2.
