A Tucker favorite brought out the best of Tucker’s bites and raised more funds than ever for two local two local charities.

Taste of Tucker raised more than $50,00 for NETWorks Cooperative Ministry and Camp Kudzu, which supports children with Type 1 diabetes, during its event on Oct. 4, organizer Karen Wood told Rough Draft Atlanta. The crowd rivaled attendance from last year, with about 5,000-7,000 attendees.

“We hope that every year is better than the last,” Wood said. “Mainly, we want to host a great event that is safe and fun for our community…Everyone seemed to have a fun time and the weather was great.”

The Taste of Tucker winners were recently announced, but the organizers have yet to share the final People’s Choice winners.
