Canfield softball players Leah Figueroa and Caylee Ortiz have made committed to college.

Figueroa has decided on St. Bonaventure and Ortiz to Columbia College.

Leah has led Canfield High School in Home Runs each season all 3 years as a Cardinal - totaling 22 (3 in one game which landed her in OHSAA record books). She has a career .373 batting average and a career 87 RBI. She has been the starting catcher since her freshman year. Leah has achieved All AAC, All NEO, and All State Honors.

Caylee was the starting pitcher last season for the Cardinals. She has a career pitching record of 13-3 and a career .350 batting average to go along with 43 RBIs. In the 2024 State championship run, Caylee went 2-for-3 with 2 RBIs and a HR in the state semi final game; and she hit the 3-run double in th
