The Carson Wentz Revenge Game™ is officially on for U.S. Bank Stadium on Sunday.
During his Friday afternoon press conference, Minnesota Vikings head coach Kevin O’Connell announced that Carson Wentz would make his fourth consecutive start for the purple when they face the team that drafted him, the Philadelphia Eagles, on Sunday afternoon.
O’Connell also said that rookie Max Brosmer will serve as the backup to Wentz, while J.J. McCarthy will be the #3 (emergency) quarterback on Sunday.
Wentz took over for McCarthy after the latter suffered a high ankle sprain in the team’s Week 2 loss to the Atlanta Falcons in Minneapolis.
