Michael Jordan was recently called out, not by a rival or analyst, but by former UNC star Rashad McCants. He wants Jordan to support the program that made him a legend and he is pretty serious about his take.

McCants, who helped lead UNC to the 2005 national title, says it’s time for Jordan and other alumni to throw their financial weight behind the school’s NIL efforts. “It’s a whole revamp, a whole rebuilding situation down in Carolina,” McCants told Kyle Odegard.

“The culture of college basketball has changed with the NIL. Michael Jordan needs to throw some money in there. Stackhouse, Vince Carter, all these guys that are alumni. They say it’s a brotherhood. You’ve got to offer the bread.”
