The Baltimore Running Festival gives athletes a chance to raise money for the charities that matter most to them.
More than 100 runners chose to provide emotional and material support to cancer patients and their families.
On race day, survivors, families, caregivers and community members will run to raise funds for the Ulman Foundation.
"Team Ulman, this year, we are on the cusp of surpassing our $80,000 fundraising goal. We are pretty confident that we can hit that and beat it, and maybe hit $100,000 this weekend," said Brock Yetso, president and CEO of the Ulman Foundation. "One-hundred percent of the dollars raised by this team will stay in Baltimore, helping young patients in our community."
