PLANT CITY, Fla. ( WWSB ) - A Plant City 17-year-old male, armed with a rifle was arrested in Plant City according to the Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office (HCSO) on Oct. 16.

Detectives had obtained probable cause charges after previously serving a search warrant on the suspects cell phone.

After detectives allegedly saw him leave his residence with a rifle they had stopped him and were able to search his vehicle and residence.

HCSO have reported finding the following items:

3 Rifles (including 1 stolen firearm)

Over $34,000 in cash

Nearly 120 pounds of THC resin

500 grams of vegetative cannabis

Multiple rounds of ammunition
