ORANGEBURG COUNTY, S.C. (WOLO)– Orangeburg County Sheriff’s Office says deputies have seized illegal drugs at a Springfield Home.

Deputies say while assisting the South Carolina Law Enforcement Division (SLED) illegal drugs, and money was found.

“We were assisting SLED (South Carolina Law Enforcement Division) in a warrant service when the drugs were discovered. The initial scope of the warrant service was animal cruelty,” the sheriff says.

The sheriff says that on Wednesday, Oct. 15, OCSO investigators assisted SLED in serving warrants on Corbitt for animal fighting or baiting and ill treatment of animals.

While helping with serving the warrants, more than a pound of meth, a half-pound of fentanyl, 24 grams of cocaine, oxycodone tablets, two handguns and more than $22,000 in cash was
