Richardson residents can expect to see an improved play structure, new shade canopies and other renovations to the Heights Family Aquatic Center next summer.
Richardson City Council approved an $868,452 construction contract for renovations to the Heights Family Aquatic Center at an Oct. 13 meeting. The center is the city’s most used pool for recreational swimming, according to city documents .
The renovation plans are part of the city’s Aquatics Master Plan , which was passed earlier this year in an effort to modernize the city’s aquatic facilities and programming.
