The ex-Spice Girl's Netflix series enjoyed a huge amount of fanfare ahead of its release - but has been badly beaten by her hubby Goldenballs's documentary in terms of ratings

Football legend David Beckham has scored a telly ratings win over his wife Victoria. ‌

Figures show that the first episode of Posh Spice’s Netflix series was watched by nearly 1.7m viewers in its first week. ‌

But Becks, 50, can claim the bragging rights as that’s less than half of what his show with the streamer netted. ‌

The former Man United and England hero’s documentary, simply titled Beckham, debuted with an audience on 3.8m.

Victoria, 51, has been on a publicity drive for her self-titled three-parter which had its premiere in London last week.
