Prince Andrew was given the prestigious title of the Duke of York by his mother, the late Queen Elizabeth II, on the morning of his wedding to Sarah Ferguson.

The wedding was held on July 23, 1986, to great fanfare in Westminster Abbey.

But it seems a distant memory now, as both Andrew and his now ex-wife sit in disgrace, effectively banished from the royal family after a series of scandals, most notably involving the late convicted paedophile Jeffrey Epstein.
