CHARLOTTE, N.C. (WBTV) - North Carolina Congresswoman Alma Adams has decided to run for reelection.

WBTV caught up with the politician as she is preparing for her 30th Annual Mad Hatters Luncheon held in Charlotte. It is a fundraiser that will be held on Saturday for her campaign.

Adams represents District 12, which is most of Charlotte. The 79-year-old politician said she has the energy to continue to fight for her constituents.
