In honour of the late singer Zubeen Garg , the 10th Brahmaputra Valley Film Festival in Assam has been postponed. Recently, the organisers of the film festival issued a statement and announced that the decision is being taken to honour the loss of the ‘cultural icon’. They also stated that since the festival won’t take place from December 4 to 7, now, people who booked tickets will be offered a refund.
“It is with a heavy heart that the 10th edition of the Brahmaputra Valley Film Festival, originally scheduled for December 4-7, 2025, has been postponed to a later date in 2026.
