CLEVELAND, Ohio – Two men have been charged in connection with armed robberies at a McDonald’s and gas station in Elyria earlier this month.

Antonio Cook, 20, faces two counts of aggravated robbery, while Jeremiah Cook, 21, has been charged with complicity to aggravated robbery. They are being held on $100,000 bonds.

On Oct. 7, a man called police and said he was lured behind a McDonald’s on Broad Street, where he was robbed of his money at gunpoint by two men who wore black clothing.

The following day, officers responded to another robbery at the True North gas station at 905 Lorain Blvd. Employees at the gas station told officers that a man wearing black clothing and a ski mask brandished a firearm and stole money from cash registers. The suspect fled on foot, police said.
