When Cedar Cliff lost its opening game of the 2025 season to Red Land, the program’s first loss to the Patriots in a decade, the Colts’ season could’ve teetered.
But after some looking internally and talks with their coach, the team realized the rest of the season was ahead of them. Playoffs were still within their fingertips.
That goal inched closer on Friday, as Cedar Cliff moved to 5-4 on the season with a thorough 28-6 Senior Night win over Altoona at West Shore Stadium, putting the team in prime position for a 6A District 3 playoff spot.
