Northern Highlands, No. 11 in the NJ.com Top 20, defeated Ridgewood 21-0 behind an 80-yard rushing touchdown by Chase Calarco in Ridgewood.

Northern Highlands got on the board early in the first quarter with a 25-yard rushing touchdown by Doyle Flatt.

Northern Highlands extended its lead with just 38 seconds before halftime when quarterback Jack O’Callaghan found Chase Deluise for his first receiving touchdown of the season.

Northern Highlands put the nail in the coffin when Calarco burst out for an 80-yard rushing touchdown late in the third quarter.

Northern Highlands (6-1) will host No. 10 Ramapo next Friday at 6:15 pm, while Ridgewood (3-4) will travel to Wayne Valley next Friday at 6:30 pm.
