UPDATE: Oklahoma Turnpike Authority official statement:

OTA has issued a formal statement after the LOFT report was published, pointing to the $3 billion in debt that was pointed out as one of the major takeaways from the report itself.

The statement alludes to the choices made by Turnpike officials over 70 years ago, and directly addresses the LOFT report as to "help inform conversations among state legislators" on the future of turnpike funding and sustainability.
