The Mega Millions jackpot continues to soar after Friday's $625 million drawing saw no grand prize winners.

The jackpot continues to reach new heights after the price of a ticket increased from $2 to $5 apiece in April.

There were also no million-dollar prizes won for those who matched the five white balls. The estimated cash prize value for Friday's prize was $288.8 million.

The jackpot for Tuesday's drawing is now at $650 million, with a cash option of $304.1 million.

The higher price also came with another change that offers players marginally better odds, though they remain astronomical. The chance of becoming a jackpot winner under the new rules is one in 290,472,336, improved from one in 302,575,350. This is because one gold Mega Ball was removed from the game, down from 25 to 24
