Syracuse, N.Y. — Plastic crowns perched atop their heads, bare chests showing and cheeks stained with eye black, Christian Brothers Academy football’s senior class took one final lap around the school’s turf field.

It’s a tradition the Brothers have followed for their final regular-season home game for over 30 years.
