BANGOR -- The Bangor Rams fell at the hands of the Winnacunnet Warriors in their homecoming game by a score of 14-7 on Friday.
In the first quarter it was the Warriors getting things started as Thomas Lyons took the handoff at the goal line and pounded his way through for the score.
In the second quarter the Warriors possessed again, but on their quarterbacks next drop back, a herd of Rams broke through the offensive line and got the sack.
Rams' quarterback Kyle Johnson was sidelined due to injury in this game, so Alex Tennett got the start for Bangor, and he found Hayden Summerlin for the big first down.
The Rams couldn't even the score before the horn sounded, and Winnacunnet heads back to New Hampshire with a big win.
Bangor (4-3) will take on Edward Little next Friday.
