Shohei Ohtani has given us some moments we may never see in baseball again.

That was certainly the case in Game 4 of the 2025 NLCS against the Brewers, when Ohtani put together one of the greatest performances in baseball history . The two-way star struck out 10 batters in six scoreless innings and became the 12th player in postseason history with three home runs in a game . It was Ohtani at his absolute best, on both sides of the ball, on a night where the Dodgers completed a sweep to advance to their second straight World Series .

Thanks to his excellence on the mound and at the plate, the Dodgers superstar is the favorite to win the 2025 National League Most Valuable Player Award. Ohtani was named the 2024 NL MVP in his first year with the Dodgers, his third career MVP award
