BIRMINGHAM, Ala. ( WBRC ) - Former Vice President Kamala Harris made a stop at the Alabama Theatre Friday night, Oct. 17, as part of her nationwide book tour. Hundreds filled the historic downtown venue to hear Harris speak about her new book, 107 Days , which details her run for the presidency in the 2024 election.

Throughout the evening, Harris focused on a message of forward thinking and compassion — especially toward those who didn’t share the same political views. She reflected on both the highlights and challenges of her presidential campaign, telling the audience that a third of the country voted for the Trump administration, a third supported her campaign, and the remaining portion didn’t vote at all.
