LEWISBURG — Despite the dichotomy of Lewisburg and Montoursville's records entering Friday night, many thought that the two teams would play a close and competitive game, given the fact that the Green Dragons have played some of the better teams in the area closely.

But, Montoursville made sure to put homesteading Lewisburg away early. The Warriors played an outstanding first half en route to a 35-14 win at Christy Mathewson Stadium.
