Winning one World Series is hard enough, but there have been only 14 teams to win at least two in a row. Capturing back-to-back championships is obviously no easy feat. Just ask the 2024 Rangers, who fell short of the playoffs one year after winning the first World Series title in franchise history. As such, MLB hasn't had a repeat champion for 24 consecutive seasons . But that may be about to change -- don't look now, but with their NLCS sweep of the Brewers, the Dodgers have secured the opportunity to repeat.

In light of that possibility, here is a look at the illustrious clubs that did win at least two championships in a row, beginning with the most recent.

1998-2000 Yankees (three straight World Series wins)
