Even as 20 per cent of the physical work on “Nausena Shaurya Sangrahalaya” (Naval museum) — being constructed by Uttar Pradesh government in collaboration with the Indian Navy — has been completed, the focus is now on transporting naval artifacts for display, said the officials.
The museum is being built on 15,800 sqm of land near Ekana Stadium in Lucknow at an estimated budget of Rs 23 crore.
According to the officials, recently, a joint on-spot survey was conducted by senior officials of the Uttar Pradesh Tourism Department and senior naval officers to work out the logistics of transportation.
