Jonathan Fernandez scored a rushing touchdown from 62-yards out in the first quarter in Lower Cape May’s 13-7 victory over Cumberland in Erma.

Ryan Mallon added a 20-yard touchdown reception from quarterback David Douglas in the second quarter, extending Lower Cape May’s lead to 13-0.

R.J Pierce scored an 11-yard touchdown reception for Cumberland (5-3) from quarterback Joshua Davis in the third quarter, cutting Lower Cape May’s lead to 13-7.

Max Bracken shined on defense for Lower Cape May (6-2), with 13 tackles, while Jose Ramos had five pass break ups including on the final play of the game.
