Railway authorities seized ₹70 lakh in cash from the Dharti Aaba Superfast Express at Titilagarh station, detaining two individuals for questioning.

The train was en route from Ernakulam to Hatia when officials intercepted the suspicious luggage. Acting on intelligence inputs, the Railway Protection Force (RPF) conducted a search and discovered the unaccounted cash. The seized amount was packed in bags without proper documentation.

The detained individuals, identified as Prabhat Kumar Sahu and Umesh Prasad, failed to provide valid explanations for the cash. Officials took them into custody for further interrogation and notified the Income Tax Department for investigation.
